Does JomSocial 4.2.1 work with Joomla 3.4.8 ?!

I am running JomSocial 4.1.6 w/ Joomla 3.4.8.
I can't currently update to 3.5 due to one component but would like to keep everything else up to date.

Can I upgrade to 4.2.1 and expect everything to work w/ my 3.4.8. installation?!
