Hi I got the answer I needed from this Answered Ticket by Micheal, but as a Suggestion you should Add that it's "OK" to Upgrade even if the " Configuration.php - not writable " to your "Upgrading" Documentation Page.

Hi Luis,

The configuration.php should be not write able, that is default system from Joomla.. and jomsocial upgrading will be fine actually.
