Hello,

I have updated our dev site from 4.1.7 to 4.2 yesterday.

First, I made a copy of our regular site, updated Joomla to 3.5.1 and then the related updates as everything worked perfectly. After that I went in and did an update with iJoomlainstaller and everything worked fine except for a couple things. After I did a database update and now we can use mobile emoljs in messages, lovely.

Know you want us to write 1 error separately but I write here what has happened in case there is any connection.

Problem:

1 - Now a lot can´t log in to the page.
Username and password do not match. Had to create a new password in order to make it work. Luckily I was backend and would test drive page with another browser and discovered the problem or I do not come in again.

2 - Some groups look quite strange:

We have 31 groups and 9 are corrupt.

3 - When scrolling down will not be so long in the flow. Just a few months back and the side have been running much longer than that, there will be material in the database for at least 2 years.


Thought that it is better we solve this here so I know how to do on the live site, or?

I was able to log in to your site without any issues.
Nevertheless I confirm issues with groups.

I reinstalled JomSocial on your dev site but it doesn't help.

I had to giv you a new password, otherwise you would´t be able to look at the problems.
The question about scrolling is not answered. When I look at the live site we have some problems in the main flow.
Scrolling down it jumps from 1 day, to week and 6 month passing a lot of posts. In our groups every post is shown.
Maybe we should have some help getting that in order before we update?

When will you come out with 4.2.1 and the bug fix for the loginproblem?

Some of our groups are still corrupt.
Your fix only fixed 3 groups of the 9.

When I look at /components/com_community/libraries/user.php line 282 it´s not as you say.

What are your suggestions ?

please check it. I put the login issue fix at your site (same like that I mentioned at prev post)
and I put same fix at:
/components/com_community/libraries/user.php at lin 85
