How to install jomsocial

ISSUE SUMMARY: I have bought the jomsocial "Supercharged" plan. I did not receive any mail on how to proceed further.
1. How can I start using jomsocial ?
2. What all do I have to install in my system to be able to use the plan?
3. Which hosting server I can use to host my website, and how to do that ?
Please help me in above.

HI.

Server needs to meet our system requirements:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/System_Requirements
So company or plan doesn't really matter unless it meets the requirements.

Then you need to have installed and configured Joomla! on your server.

Then follow this tutorial:

It shows installation on Joomla! 2.5 and bit older version of JomSocila but installation steps are the same.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
