Email link to article on Jomsocial site doesn't go to login page
ISSUE SUMMARY:
I have a closed Joomla/Jomsocial site at
www.mfa-sibs.org
. You have to be a registered member to access the site. We also have normal Joomla articles on the site. We send out a weekly eNewsletter via Constant Contact with an Index of new articles on the site that have "read more" links. If a site member is already logged into
www.mfa-sibs.org
before they click on the read more link they are taken right to the article.
However if they are not logged into the site when they click an article's read more link they are not taken to the Jomsocial login page but instead are taken to a page that says "You are not authorized to view this resource." or they are taken to a blank page that only shows the site's logo.
How do I change this, so that a user who is not logged in is taken to the Jomsocial log-in page, and then after entering username and password is then taken onto the article they are trying to read?

I'm sorry but your issue is not related in any way with JomSocial.
It apply to Joomla! core component com_content (which is responsible for all things related with articles)

So this issue seems to be in your Joomla! core.
Also when you're redirected by com_content to login page it will be Joomla! default login component com_users not JomSocial login (frontpage). But anyway, this login works just like any other JomSocial login form.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
