Are you use shared server? because your connection is very slow.

Anyway, can you incease mysql config "connect_timeout" and php config "memory_limit" to bigger value, please?

I already fixed the hang when unpack frontend, not im inspecting the database issue, this issue caused by your mysql user configuration, i get this error :

1142 CREAT command denied to user "karlstabo"

wtf, thats weird, i have fixed that problem now and now i could update myself.
