I can not put the start date of an event, does not the calendar.

could you please elaborate more? i cant replicate this issue.

For you see what happens, I have created a user on page www.veraswingers.com , with joomla name and password 123456. Between page, go to menu COMMUNITY EVENTS submenu and create an event and try to put the date. not let you store a date. This is the problem.

the issue from the template it self.
please edit /templates/j51_enlighten/css/nexus.css line 1212

and changing it to

#container_main .wrapper960 > div {
  box-sizing: border-box;
  overflow: visible;
}
