ISSUE SUMMARY:

Friends of Jomsocial. i have this problem and i don't know how to fix it or if this problem is because of jomsocial miss configuration.

i have my 404 not found web page but only appears after a category example: www.identifican.cl/ayuda/gsghsthsrth
but if i try to do the same with www.identifican.cl/dfgjknsdfljgznfd redirect me to the index

i think the index of jomsocial in the main menu is doing this.

( i have installed Profile URL from Simbunch but even if i desactivate this plugin this issue still happens.

please HELP ME!

at what page I can find that link??

the issue not with jomsocial. but you put wrong link/url on it.
for example:
at Ayuda page there is a link with name:
"como activar mi codigo numerico"

and linking to:
www.identifican.cl/ayuda/como-activar-mi-codigo-numerico

you put that link manually from content editor, but that link doesn't exist.

Yes i have to change that url to

www.identifican.cl/menu/ayuda/como-activar-mi-codigo-numerico

But my problem is that i dint have 404 page irl when the pleople put a wrong code after identifican.cl/

because with the plugin Profile Url every user have tgis own code after the domain name.

I really dont know where is the string or the code rewriting the wrong urls to my index.

the issue not related with jomsocial. any URL handler always do it by joomla it self. because jomsocial running under joomla.
seem the issue related with joomla htaccess file. please open new topic at this forum:
forum.joomla.org/
