The attached screenshot is of what I think is the Home page of JomSocial. I see a toolbar at the top of this page. Isn't it a login page? This is what I want on my site. How do I accomplish this?

Thanks again. Does this mean I have to replicate the JomSocial menu? How do I do that?

Hi,

yes. you need to replicate jomsocial menu by create new menu type and add new community item type on it
you can do it from joomla menu manager. maybe can create new menu module. but this things depend with your frontend template it self.
not jomsocial. please asking your template provider about possibility.

Thank you again.
Can you address the second part of my issue about the login portion being crowded. Please look at the first image again. Icons are covering the words & the login button is on the wrong side.
