ISSUE SUMMARY:

We post announcements using the Group's Post Announcement feature. Quite often after posting, extra spaces appear, or we find a typo we need to tweak. Each time we edit the announcement the notification is resent. How can we prevent the reposting of the announcement when we edit it? An announcement should be sent only once.


ALSO, the announcement is most often timing out ("Gateway Timeout"). We cannot extend the execution time any further on SiteGround.com. Why is it timing out? Although timing out, at least the announcement IS posted.

ALSO, is it possible to use a different editor for the Group Announcements? We would like one with an upload feature.



STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Post a Group Announcement -- it is then sent to Group members, as expected.
2 Edit the Group Announcement.

RESULT it is resent to Group members.
EXPECTED RESULT it should not be resent to Group members.
