• how to add tooltips on custom fields in a profile registration or edition screen?
• how to add short description or a tooltip the Groups header of the custom profile?

tooltips at any jomsocial fields has been deprecated since 4.0, the reason behind this because tooltips always make issue at mobile devices.
no way to put it back. sorry for this inconvenience

I understand with the responsive aspects probably.
But to answer that need, it would be of interest to have the possibility of a new type of custom field that we put only as display and for which we can add a free description (like in the format of a text area) which will be then always displayed with the same content?

(and / or to add the possibility of a description area in a custom group).
