ISSUE SUMMARY: I upgraded from the standard version of JomSocial to the Professional version and it is not letting me complete the update. I have deleted the installer, and installed the newest version, I have cleared my cache, I have made sure all of the settings are at the required settings and it still hangs at the Upgrading Database. I need this website to be ready for going live this week. Can I please get some assistance.

This is all on my Development server.

Browse to your database using PHPmyAdmin and execute this query:

ALTER TABLE `ov3cq_community_files`  ADD `profileid` INT NOT NULL  AFTER `type`;

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Great, I was able to get the JomSocial to install finally but I can't update the frontpage image. It uploads and then just hangs and doesn't do anything.

The text in the paragraph isn't what I have it set for in the frontpage.guests.php either.

1. I get 502 Bad Gateway error when trying to save new frontpage cover: i.imgur.com/UCN64T4.png
You may try to override that image using this method: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Replacing_Default_Avatar

2. If you want to change text in frontpage paragraph just use Joomla! language override: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Changin...gle_Sentence_or_Word
