Hi,

do you mean by using ijoomla installer? please download latest jomsocial package at jomsocial.com > my account.
unzip that file and install newest ijoomla installer, try to upgrade your jomsocial again from there.

if still cant, please using conventional way from joomla backend > manage > upload package file.

Hi Hugo,

I updated iJoomla Installer from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5 but the problem persists. So, I checked the system info on your Joomla! backend and looks like your server is running a very old OpenSSL version. Please ask your hosting provider to update OpenSSL to a more recent version.

Anyway, if you need to install/update our extensions you can do it as any other regular Joomla! extension through Joomla! Installer component.

Thanks!
