I want to use Jomsocial as 2 distinct and separate user profiles( or groups - not sure about the terminology here).
Basically I want to have people sign-up as either GroupA (Teachers) or in GroupB (Students). Ounce they have signed up I only want them to be able to see and interact with the people of their same group (either A or B). They can not see or interact with anyone from the opposite group.
Is this possible using Jomsocial?
Are there any add-ons that make this possible or simpler to set-up/manage?

by default jomsocial not able to do that. but some customers informed that they using this extensions:
