Hello!

In Joomla I created a menu's entry and I linked it to "Home page" of the Jomsocial Community. I have seen that when a guest user accesses to the "Jomsocial home page" a default banner (photo) appears. How can I change this banner? I would like to put my banner/photo.

you need to do it from jomsocial backend > theme designer > general

When I try to access to jomsocial backend > theme designer > general I receive a message that says to me to upgrade to "Pro version" !! (I have Jomoscial standard). So If haven't the Pro version of Jomsocial I can't change the default banner? I can't believe that!!! :.(

Excuse me, maybe I did't understand well!! I paid to buy a license of Jomsocial standard and I can't change the default banner to adapt it to my web site? So you require that I buy the Pro version only to do that? If ti is in this way I will not renew my subscription license and I will buy another product because all the features of a product should be available if I pay to to have it!!!

Hi, Luca.

All Albertus said is that "Theme Designer" feature is available ONLY in JomSocial Pro version.
This is clearly explained on pricing page:

You still may change hero image (frontpage image) using overrides.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
