RESULT: lands on friends page clicking on any of the menu tabs or videos, photos, they are all landing on friends

We have tried the two users described in the private section of this post (in additional information).

This problem appears to be happening since we activated Joomla's SEF. I even bought an extension called JoomSEF, but I decided to disable it because, despite the fact that it actually corrected the redirection issue, it was showing the same "/friends/" on url.

Please note: all pages on Jomsocial show the "friends" folder as the root ( www.mydomain.com/friends/profile , www.mydomain.com/friends/videos/display , www.mydomain.com/friends/profile/photos/display , etc.).

Any idea on how to fix this?

We ended up resolving the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the paid SEF Joomla/Jomsocial plugins.
