Hi,

1°) can you please clarify the settings for "Activity Display Privacy": to what corresponds yes and no?

2°) for the "everyone can comment":
  • "members": are they any type of members of JS? how do we choose the level/type of members
  • I don't see where it is possible to add a comment (for instance having added a test event, and being logged in with a different member account, I don't find a way to add a comment)

Thanks
yves

HI, Ives.

1. Just hover over field title with mouse coursor and you'll display field description in tooltip... it should explain more :)
2. Members are Community members - registered users. There are not "type" or "levels" There are profiles (set in multiprofiles settings) but even if user has different profile type he/she is considered as "member".

No, you can't comment that activity - not all activities can be commented as some of them are rather "system generated activities". New event activity is one of the. Other are: user as joined to group, user A become friend with user B etc.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

1. Yes I have seen the tooltip, but it doesn't say which part of the "or" in the tooltip refers to the yes or the the no. :-)

HI, Yves.

"Set the activity display's privacy to Public or follow user's privacy setting." means YES = Set the activity displays privacy NO = follow user's privacy setting.
