After upgrade 4.1.3 to 4.1.4: "String could not be parsed as XML"
After attempted upgrade from Jomsocial 4.1.3 to 4.1.4 via iJoomla, i received a blank page.
I then uninstalled 4.1.3 and installed 4.1.4 by Extensions manager instead.
Since then, i receive a message: "String could not be parsed as XML" when attempting to access admin pages for Jomsocial. Sometimes it works, sometimes the message appears.
I have read prior incidents on the forum and it seems a Jomsocial update plugin has been to blame in the past. I searched - but could find no such plugin on my site.
I have since uninstalled iJoomla entirely from my site. I have also uninstalled J 4.1.4 and re-installed it again. Still, the error appears.
This is very annoying. Can someone please supply me with advice on this error.
with thanks, mark
