Hi Support,

Why we cannot import Jomsocial users from our main website tykemart.com to our beta site at tykemart.com/beta/ ?
We encountered error "CSV file is not formatted properly" when importing the exported csv file from tykemart.com.
Also try to export csv file from tykemart.com/beta and import back the file but still encountered error "CSV file is not formatted properly".

Please check attached files for references.

Thank you and please let me know your thoughts.

Hi, Carmin.

It's because you didn't edited CSV file.
CSV contain too much data columns. In order to import users you need THREE columns.
Please, read: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Users_E..._and_Import_from_CSV

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

We tried the import procedure ( documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Users_E..._and_Import_from_CSV ) but the same problem encountered "CSV file is not formatted properly".

Can you please check and try on your end as we already provided the admin access for the main and beta.

Thank you,
Carmina

Hi, Carmina.

I used demo file attached in documentation.
It was uploaded successfully: i.prntscr.com/6a89264800e349b5bc1c3d157e193d2c.png

Please, check your csv file to be exact as example.csv.
