Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
We upgrade JomSocial from version 3.16 to 4.1.3. The upgrade was successful.
After that we customised the registration page.
When testing the registration page, on click of Next nothing happens. I checked the console and I am receiving an jQuery issue. Here is the URL
www.mydietfreelife.com/register.html
.
The error is:
Uncaught TypeError: joms.jQuery is not a function
Uncaught ReferenceError: jfbcJQuery is not defined
We check page source and the jQuery version 1.11.3 is loaded.
Please can you'll take a look and let us know what the issue is.
You also mentioned "After that we customised the registration page.". What customization do you mean?
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Thanks for the reply. We have uninstalled the JFBCSystem. But still it is not working... Any help will be appreciated.
By customization we mean that by default the JomSocial registration page is whole block. If you see our registration page -
www.mydietfreelife.com/register.html
- , we have split into two columns.
1st column has the JomSocial Registration form ( which has not been touched ) and the 2nd columns has Subscribe to our newsletter, Listen to Radio Show, Download our app images.
