New to JS & how to set-up JS just like Demo.

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I struggling to set-up JS just like demo but no clue how to do it ..
Installation of JS & socialize went through ..
my site looks like www.jomsocial.com/media/kunena/attachmen...7073/ticketImage.png
please educate me to set-up my website just like demo ..

Hi,

you need to know joomla little bit, because jomsocial running under joomla.
please check it, I did this steps:
1. goto joomla menu manager, and create jomsocial home as main menu item.
2. set that jomsocial home as "homepage/default page"
3. goto joomla module manager, and manage all modules to sidebar-2 position.
4. goto socialize template manager, and set social at layout

I followed your steps but still not able to figured it out to get as demo ..
Do have a video which educates us how to set-up jomsocial & socialize ..

Hi.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

I posted new admin login credentials in new post and you closed that one.
when I am replying to this, I didn't have option to post admin credentials

Anyhow, I need help configuring jomsocial & sociliaize as I mentioned earlier ..

Any credentials should be provided in original thread.
You need to EDIT your first post and add credentials in credentials box - below main text container.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
