ISSUE SUMMARY: After upgrading to 4.1.1 none of the events with past an present are showing when I select show all event.
please see attached image. Before the upgrade I could see everything... egads !


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Tried to see events past and present
2. tried to add new All Events menu and I can only add create event
3 Search past events and they show events, but , see All Events and nothing shows
4. renew cache etc.

RESULT: can see nothing
EXPECTED RESULT: to see all events or at lest be able to add a new menu in JS menu

In JomSocial you have only 7 events... all of them are already passed away. So they will be not displayed in "All events" but in "Past events"

Create new event - set it start date in future. It will be displayed in "All events".

Thank you for looking into this issue, however the last event that was added had a start date of today and should have shown up on the list of events. I tried to update and then save the event set for 10/27/2015 and I got a fatal error message. I could not update and save the event with the new date and time, so I recreated it.
In addition, before the upgrade, past events would show in the activity stream, that was the desire effect as it made the site appear more active.
Is there anything I can do to bring back these attributes?

Hi.

If you add event then it will appear on activity stream. After Event passed away then activity should still remain on stream as a just another activity (unless it's not archived automatically - it depends from your settings).

This is default behaviour and nothing was changed in it from very long time...
