ISSUE SUMMARY:

Since upgrading to 4.1, the language string COM_COMMUNITY_PROFILE_DEFAULT_ALBUM_NAME="Stream Photos" is not showing up on the front end of my site, even though it is in my language file. I have also added it as a Joomla language override. I don't want to reinstall the 4.1 upgrade due to customizations, so I hope there is another solution.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Go to isurfedthere.com and look at the stream

/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_community.ini

and replace it with new one:

unzip and upload it

I did that and the string shown in my activity stream became just: 'castinghooks shared a photo'. However, clicking on the photo to show the lightbox, the link in the lower left corner still shows just the code 'COM_COMMUNITY_PROFILE_DEFAULT_ALBUM_NAME'.

I have since put my modified language file back because we have a lot of language customizations. Any other ideas?

OK it's working now with my original modified language file, not sure why it didn't work before, because I clear cache regularly when testing...

Question: does every post that is entered into the stream get put in an album named "Stream Photos"? And how is this link created? The language string has no <a> tag.

not sure why that album name as "Stream Photos", that link suppose to as album title.
that link created not using language string, but using jomsocial core code.
