ISSUE SUMMARY:hello, i am using jomsocial 3 but i intend to migrate to jomsocial 4, i have customised the template of my jomsocial 3 site and created an overide, but i was told that inorder for the customization to work in jomsocial 4, i have to reimplement the codes in pure js 4 layout.
please do how do i make sure that i don't encounter any problems after migration, will the overide affect the site in anyway? and i will also like to know if reimplenting the code after i migrate to jomsocial 4 will be easier and faster since the customization has been done before or does it require more work and time?

Hi Muelji,

This is tricky issue :) since on version 4.x we changed lot of code and template, you can't your oveeride template 3.x for 4.x, except you modify from 4.0 to 4.1, the override template will be fine then.

I suggest you should re-code again your code in 3.x for template in 4.x
