Hi guys,

Im translating the english to simplified chinese manually via text file for the latest jomsocial version.

can i check if there are new versions of jomsocial, will there be new strings to addon? if yes, is there a changelog for this because if not i will have to compared line by line for the language file

No, there is no such a detailed log.
But you'll not have compare it line by line. get yourself a diff app that will compare files for you. Just take language file from version you started to translate (in English) and compare it with file from latest package.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
