Purchased Socalize and Installed but Dosn't look anything like the Demo
Apologies for such a newbie question but, I purchased the JomSocial and Socialize template bundle and installed it on my hosting service, CloudAccess. However, there is absolutely no resemblance of my site compared to any of the Demos.
my thinking was that once I installed JomSocial & the Socialize templatemy website would look somewhat like the demos. Is this not correct? Do you suppose I missed a step during the installation? The website is located at
www.sme.city
if
you would like to take a look. I have also attached a screen shot as well. One thing to mention is that CloudAcces’s hosting service has a predefined template installed when you sign up with their hosting service. I disabled the one that comes with CloudAccess and made Socialize the default template.
you need to changing the modules position from joomla modules manager, and you need to setup defaut home page from joomla menu manager. but you need to create "jomsocial home" item at main menu first.
if you dont know how to do it, please edit your first post at this topic. and put administrator login detail as super user at site info form.
or send it to my email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
please check it, I only did changing the modules position to sidebar 2. you can see the positions under socialize template manager.
you can goto joomla modules manager to set what modules you want.
and I set jomsocial as default/home page. you can do it from joomla menu manager > main menu.
please delete unwanted menu items.
