Hi.

And again I barely understand you. Please stop opening so many threads.
Focus on one but try to explain your issue so we may understand.

I'm guessing that you want to set JomSocial as your site frontpage and to display similar modules.
So you need to create JomSocial menu item that link to JomSocial frontpage in your main menu and set it as default page in Joomla! (click a star in menu item row).

www.dart-creations.com/joomla/joomla-tip...fault-frontpage.html

But as far I see you already set JomSocial as your default page.

After installation JomSocial will be set with default settings what will allow to use it straight away.

Next browse to Backend -> Extensions -> Module manager and enable modules Groups, Latest Photos and Latest videos. You may assign them to your template positions in sidebar (left or right - this depend on your template). Or you may use JomSocial built in positions:

documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Built-in_Module_Positions

So does this mean that you want to have EXACT the same look as our demo page? Final look of JomSocial depends from Joomla! template as JS is an extension for Joomla! You use Joomla! default template Protostar. On our demo we used our template Socialize. That's why both site look a bit different. Also on our demo we moved modules to template positions (by default they come up in built-in positions). Just use module manager in Joomla! to move them to sidebars.

As for server information, please, contact with your hosting provider as we don't have access to your server to obtain any informations.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
