For time being I set the error reporting to none to fix this.

are you telling me that there is no solution to any of the above issues? If so then I would like to request a refund. users cant upload profile photos, errors on latest members module and you say there's no fix?

2. You should edit Joomla Menus->Main Menu, find jomsocial, edit jomsocial to as you want

3. You changed the jomsoical toolbar menu, so thats why you dont have link to edit the avatar.. now I already put it back
