Hi,
here the steps:
1. edit jomsotial toolbar menu from joomla menu manager
2. changing the menu title to e.g:
COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_PROFILE
COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_PROFILE
Profile
COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_PROFILE
[Profile in Brazile Portuguese]
Hi Albertus,
I dont get the instructions. I reach the point, but as I follow the instructions and you said nothing about SAVE at the I get just one constant, is that what you want?
I asked to create 2 constants, but have the same name, so the second one deletes the previous and something strange about [Profile in Brazile Portuguese] versus Brazilian.
Anyway I tried, see the attachment,
Isn't possible that you inspect the directly?
isionco.com.br/administrator/
user support password was given when I opened this ticket.
Thanks

Ok, thank you I got that, but what is the formation rule for menu names with spaces in it ?
Change Profile Picture
to
COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_Change Profile Picture ?
or
COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_Change_Profile_Picture ?
Uppercase versus lowercase, matters?

Carla
Hi Carla,
language string standard must using uppercase and not containing special chars/number and white space.
use _ instead of white space
COM_COMMUNITY_TOOLBAR_CHANGE_PROFILE_PICTURE
Never mind :)
I got the idea, its working now. But I think a better version of this solution could go FAQ.

Carla

I was not sure about to open a new topic but its totally related.
After implementing this menu override I get an extra load of work if I want to experiment new templates for joomla or start a new installation from scratch.
Is there a way to save these menu overrides and import them later on new installations?
Is there any plans to have this multilingual extra work implemented in some more rational way, because the way it is, its cumbersome.
Thanks
Carla
