Problems with Socialize & Jomsocial

JomSocial Active Socialize Expired

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Third Installation of Socialize 2 and Jomsocial 4.0.6 on Joomla 3.4.1 now. I still can't get it to work correctly. The Jomsocial Toolbar only works wenn setting it on Socialize menu, changing privacy settings (and other setting) is impossible, activity stream does not show.
Tested Browsers are Firefox and Chrome. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, Marcus.

1. That is correct JomSocial toolbar is integral part of Socialize template and will not work with other templates... unless you force it to. But this require some module customizations.

2. All your issues was cased by enabled jQuery load in JomSocial toolbar mdule. So jQuery was loaded twice causing conflicts. I disabled it in module settings and issues are gone.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
