sorry for not getting back to you sooner but after updating joomla and jomsocial i still had the same problems and lots more so i have reverted back to the way it was before i updated. the problem seems to be the jomsocial redirect plugin. when i have it enabled it will not let my users log in. It might let one of my users log in the odd time. when i disable it my users can log in but have different problems. when logged in if you click on a member and then try to log out it wont let you it goes to a different page. also if im on the profile page when i log out it tells me i have to log in first. when the jomsocial plugin is enabled all of these problems go away. also facebook connect was working perfect but now it is not. everything works perfect on localhost. I have been at it for about 3 or 4 weeks now and it is still not right

This issue can be caused by outdated plugin jomsocial redirect it, you should update jomsocial component to the latest version first for fixing this

i did up date to the latest version of jomsocial and joomla and it did not fix the problem it made everything worse. I have been trying to fix this for the past month can anyone help. It does not need to be updated as it did not fix the problem it fucked up my site.

i have stopped using jomsocial redirect and it is working so everything should be ok.
i am using module login and redirecting it to jomsocial. is there anyway i can encrypt the login page

once you update jomsocial version, the jomsocial redirect plugin will be updated automatically
