i have tried to log in and cannot. can you try logging in a couple of times as sometimes it lets you log in.
i have also created another user through the sign up process James password james1. When i clicked on the confirmation email that was sent to james an error occurred see attachment

I see, this issue can be caused by Joomla, please you try update your Joomla to the latest version first, and let me know how it goes..

i do not want to update to the latest joomla if i do i will lose some of my site. it is working perfectly on local host so it cannot be joomla

i have purchased jomsocial i have purchased a domain and hosting service and my site does not work
and no one can tell me what is wrong. What good is a site that does not let its users log in.
Prove me wrong some of you must be capable of fixing it. Its working perfect on localhost so what could the problem be. By the way it does not let me log out from the back end when it is online either. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

I am sorry for delay asnwer, this is the newest Joomla version www.joomla.org/announcements/release-new...-3-4-1-released.html version 3.4.1 not 3.3.6, in version Joomla 3.3.6 and Jomsocial has some bug regarding password encryption.

i logged in yesterday and the configuration.php file was set to unwriteable so was the log and tmp files. i changed the permissions of the configuration file to writable but it seems to have reverted back to unwtiteable again.

i have just updated my joomla/jomsocial website. It still did not work right i could not log in. I then discovered that the jomsocial redirect plugin was causing the problem and disabled it. It is now letting me log in but now i have more problems. if i click on a member when logged in and try to log out it will not let me. if i click on events or photos or any of these i am getting a message please log in first. the jomsocial facebook connect has stopped working. I have been at this for 3 or 4 weeks and i still cannot use my site. also when i log in it is opening on the profile page which i do not want. i need to open it on the home page (house) which it was doing until i disabled jomsocial redirect. The random image is not showing either.The site is working perfectly on local host. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp.

i have just discovered that if jomsocial redirect is enabled all the other problems go away, but it will only let me log in to billy, not any of the other users. facebook connect is gone though

I think your jomsocial redirect plugin is broken or maybe the configuration is not correct.

I cant access your backend now.. can you check again?
