front page privacy not working

ISSUE SUMMARY:
front page privacy is not respected

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 layout - front page stream - members only
2 layout - front page stream - hide
3 layout - front page stream - activity stream 0

RESULT
non logged in members can see everything no matter what privacy options are selected.


EXPECTED RESULT

log in box and assigned modules only

I've had to go offline obviously but the credentials are super admin so you can log in

You're right, it seems that frontend doesn't follow backend settings fro stream display.
I assign developer to this thread.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

After additional test I find out that this is valid bug in JomSocial 4.0.3
I'll report this to our developers.

Please, make safe copy of this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/frontpage/base.php

Then replace original file with patched one from package.
