Hello,

Our current jomsocial version was 3.0.5.2 & due to some security issues we are planning to do an quick joomla upgrade from 3.2.3 version to 3.4.1 version. And we are planning to do other components upgrade later including jomsocial. If we upgrade joomla 3.2.3 version to 3.4.1 version will it create any compatible issue with the current jomsocial version (3.0.5.2). If so, is there any way to resolve it. Please advice.

Hi, Anil.

You should also upgrade JomSocial to current version -> JomScoial 4.0.2 as you use outdated and unsupported version.
If you have any issues with JS 3.0.5.2 we'll be not able to help you as no fixes will be released for that version. It's also known to have security flaws.

So I strongly recommend to upgrade to latest version.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
