JomSocial registration process not working

ISSUE SUMMARY:

Firstly the domain name has changed. it is now URL: nsw.aeromodellers.org.au/administrator/ but I don't know how to change it.

But the real reason I am here is that people who are trying to join the community cannot register themselves. They get different messages including "Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet" or Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet".

Also, I also tried to create an account and the validation email has not arrived in my inbox (and I checked Junk mail too).

Also we have had people asked to supply a web address in their log in processing and that is not required by the group.


STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Go to Community and register
2 Fill in the details and the press register

RESULT: sometimes it does not send the confirmation email, other times it does allow even this far.

Also the site has been moved to a different domain nsw.aeromodellers.org.au as they got a not for profit domain name. so the address below is not correct and I don't know how to change it.

I have also found that when you want a password reminder it does not send anything through.

Maybe I missed something?

For sure you have issues with JomSocial toolbar menu items, you may fix them:

- click on menu item in JomSocial menu in order to edit it
- when in edit mode don't change anything
- save
- menu item should be fixed
- do it for every JomSocial related menu items (if needed) in all other menus

Make sure that you fix ALL JomSocial related links that way ;)

Maybe try to create screencast of your issue: screencast-o-matic.com

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I use ForeFox 34.0. Also Chrome should be fine... just give up Internet Explorer... it will die anyway soon ;)
