My site disappeared from google

Hi,
After I installed joomla and jomsocial, my site is no longer at google and other search engines.
Is there anything I have missed in configuraion?... :) or do I have to install a special plugin or??
Please advice,

Thanks for the article, but is there anything in configuration I can do? Right now google is not showing any hits.... Before joomla/jomsocial my domaine had over 20.000 hits? Is there any on/off config?
