Is it possible to set the email field to require to be entered twice, rather than the once currently (or by default if I've missed where the setting is)?

So far I'm having about 30% of new users not registering as they incorrectly type their email address. How do I know this? They're people I chat to on FB and know their email addresses. they'll enter an incorrect letter and because it's not entered a 2nd time to check they end up with no activation email and a loss of interest in the site.

Yup, 30% or more of the population are incompetent when it comes to typing their email address into a field ;)

Anyhow, I mentioned it in community and seems I'm not the only one with this complaint so any suggestions/fixes would be appreciated

I am sorry, this is not possible in Jomsocial, but if you want fill the email twice you can use Joomla registration page instead Jomsocial.

Maybe, given that multiple users are experiencing this problem it may be a future feature you guys could look at slotting somewhere on the list...
