I couldnt find the right answer to my problem yet.
I have just pushed a new site live when finding out that Users who register to the site don't receive an email with their login credentials. This is however turned on in the backend. I really can't find out why these mails are not being sent.
- The site admin also does not receive emails of new registrations.
Please take a look at my dev site, which is setup the same as the live site. Perhaps anyone can find anything?
it can be your server issue, you can test it from joomla backend > users > mass mail users
that will sending email to all registered users (non admin).
if email still not sent, try using SMTP as joomla email configuration
FYI: I cant access your backend invalid user/pass, so I cant inspect this issue. could you please edit your first post at this topic and put it any credentials information at site info form.
Turning on 'User Registration - Self' does send an email to new users when they register with their account activation link.
I wanted to actually exclude this option, but this does actually send out an email. Any ideas?
