I have created a cron job for Jomsocial that runs once every ten minutes.

This have worked fine for a long time now but I noticed recently that Jomsocial has stopped sending out emails. If I go to that link in my web browser it sends the email but Jomsocial won't send all the waiting emails when the cron job runs. I've checked in my server logs and the cron job does run once every ten minutes.

Any ideas of what might be wrong?

Hi Erik,

for sending emails jomsocial using joomla function, please goto joomla backend > users > mass mail users and send the email. if users not receive any emails, that must be something wrong with joomla mail configuration. changing it to SMTP, and if already using SMTP the problem must be at SMTP server it self.

Joomla can send emails fine and Jomsocial can send emails also. But only if I go the the link myself in my own browser. When my cron job calls the link with wget no emails are sent from Jomsocial. I have other cron jobs that uses wget that send out email and those work fine.
