Please Advise.

Hi Jonathan,

On that code we are using Joomla core code "<?php echo JURI::root();?>", I am not sure why its redirect to localhost, are you using virtual host when you check it?

note : your backend access is not working, please you verify it.

thank you

Please try to login again, somehow your dev account username / password was reset to public. Thought it was set to super user ... should be good now. Some mail is being sent fine, so I'm wondering if there are two separate peices of code related to this? I'm adding a second video to my Misc Info section, which may be telling, w/ some additional server info.

Thanks,

Hi Jonathan,

I just check it, and its working fine... I think the localhost issue is coming from your localhost test, and when you ran the cron job, you ran on live server.

thank you

Yep, so the issue was that I wrote the cron job for localhost vs my domain.

Just an FYI, the reason I did this was part of a larger issue on my AWS server I'll specific below:

The ephemeral port range on AWS's documentation associated w/ ACL network rules are incorrect or at least incorrect for typical Apache web-server setups. The only specific a subset of the ephemeral port range that needs to be open on both inbound and outbound traffic. If not setup correctly with the full range it'll either fail, fail occasionally, or make your server intermittently slow.

Hope that helps someone else.
