Installed Jomsocial now Back-End Admin Panel is Slow

I have 2 AWS machines w/ Joomla installed, (Dev/Prod,) both have the exact same configuration and system specs. After I installed Jomsocial the backend seems to have slowed down. I tried to implement this solution ; however, it didn't have a noticeable effect.

I uploaded a video to see the comparison more readily. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoWaRB-Jyj4

Please advise.

Hi Jonathan,

I just installed Jomsocial on dev site, but I get blank page on your backend now.. I need your FTP access, so i can inspect this.

Sorry, had to forgot I had to do a "sudo apt-get php5-curl" ... should be fine now. As stated in my "misc info" section I don't have an FTP server set up on that web server. That dev server does have the "explorer" extension for you to look at all the files, etc.

Thanks, JP

Implemented "fix," please see video to ensure we're on the same page. The "fix" didn't seem to make a difference. Back-end is still lagging. I restarted Apache as well to ensure that the php wasn't cached or something.
