using two profile for each member

Hi,

1- I want to create two profiles for each member. one profile for their personal information and second profile for their institutions, universities, etc.....
How can I do this ?
As far as I perceive in multiprofile feature it assumes only one kind of profile for one person at a time.

2- How can I make the second page only accessible for school and university masters? I mean so that students can not introduce themselves as the owners of school?

Hi, Irik.

1. One user can have only ONE profile. If you want to have separated profile for individual and for company. You can't merge them.

Multiprofile is feature that allows you to create profile types with different fields and avatars with matermark.

2. Hmmm... JomSocial doesn't support Joomla! ACL so Joomla! groups may not work. But you may try JomSocial Profile Types (JSPT): www.readybytes.net/jomsocial-profile-type.html
Ask their developers if their extension could help you.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
