New Installation - no items on jomsocial toolbar

Hi, this is the second time that I have installed jomsocial for a client after building their website.

This time though, while the jomsocial menu installed, there are no items on it.

I have attached an image to demonstrate.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but still no menu items.

Hi John,

Please you check again, I just added some Jomsocial toolbar.. I am not sure why the toolbar was failed to be created during installation.. so we should add them manually.

Yes, the main items are there now. Are you saying that I need to add the rest manually? How will I know what the links are supposed to be?

Also, when logging in, I am redirected to the website homepage. I have tried changing this in configuration to redirect to profile and also tried a redirect to frontpage, but it always goes to the website homepage. I thought this was because the menu items were missing - I read on the forum that the menu items are used by jomsocial's internal functions - but you have added the profile link and it is still not redirecting properly. Will that function work right once the rest of the menu items are added?

#1 when you create/edit menu, click menu item type.. you will find jomsocial list menus there.. please you check my screenshoot

#2 Please you set the redirect with Jomsocial redirect plugin, here is the link /administrator/index.php?option=com_plugins&view=plugin&layout=edit&extension_id=10116
