Try to clear browser and joomla cache.
Make sure that you have enabled mbstring library on your server.

This is just a php notice. It doesn't influence your system performance in any way. You can hide it by disabling or setting Joomla! error reporting to default here:
Baceknd -> System -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Error reporting.
Set ti to Default and if notice will be still visible change it to None.
