I'm running a Joomla 2.5.27 site. After upgrading Jomsocial and Facebook connect to the latest versions, my site suddenly goes blank after login. The hosting firm has already investigate the issue thoroughly, studied error logs etc, but couldn't find the cause.

I've already completely refreshed Joomla 2.5.27 but it made no difference.

I also tried disabling JFBC in the extensions manager and the Jomsocial settings but it made no difference either.

I think you FB API already outdated, please you re-create your FB app and re-apply the FB API code with the newest one.

I've actually recreated the Facebook API about a month ago and entered the new settings into JFBC.

The API seems to be active and working:

I've now also entered those new API codes to the Jomsocial settings. I had not realised that I have to enter them there too. Anyhow, after entering the new API codes into Jomsocial, I still cannot log in without getting blank pages.

Well, those blank pages are exactly the problem I would like to fix. The first time that happens and I refresh the page, I get the login screen again, so the login failed.

I doubt it's got anything to do with JFBConnect. If I disable it in the extensions manager or in the Jomsocial preferences, I still get the blank pages every time I try to log in. I suspect it's a Jomsocial problem. You can log yourself out on the backend and then try logging in again.

By the way, in the hope that this will help fix the problem, I've just upgraded the site to Joomla 3.3, something I had planned to soon anyhow. Unfortunately, the blank pages problem has not gone away.

I am not sure why the error reporting is not showing, I suggest you also report this to your hosting provider for checking the error reporting configuration, if the error shows we can fix this issue easily

I've now set reporting to maximum in the global configuration of joomla. It was set to none.

But, I still i get blank page, I suggest you contact the sys-admin
