Hi all,
i updated jomsocial from 2.2.4 to 3.2.15, and %1$s and %2$s are in the stream now. And i have problems with wrong links in the stream. Are the %1$s and %2$s a language problem? I found them in the language file.
I replaced all the {actor}-tags that i hat in the stream in the laguage file and they are gone now.

joomla 2.5.27. Updating joomla to 3.3.6 is on my list.

New articles showing up in the stream without link. I am afraid that it is a new big problem with jreviews, which we use for all articles.

I realized that 3.2.1.5 is using bootstrap and that caused problems with our template, which is based on bootstrap too. Is there a way to prevent loading the bootstrap.css with an override? Now i simply disabled the content for testing.

Thanks for your support so far.

kind regards

Hi, Dieter.

1. Your language file is outdated. E.g for language constant:

COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_ACTIVITIES_NEW_EVENT

you have:

hat das neue Event <a href="_QQQ_{event_url}_QQQ_">%1$s</a> in der Kategorie <a href="_QQQ_{event_category_url}_QQQ_">%2$s</a> hinzugefügt.

But it should have only:

added a new event

So you need to download new language pack for JomSocial from here: www.jomsocial.com/translations/

This will solve %1$s and %2$ and {actor} issues.

2. Make sure that you have updated jReviews plugins for JomSocial as well. Also contact with jReviews developers.

3. Also make sure that overrides done in html/com_community are right for your current JomSocial version.

4. As for bootstrap issue - disabling our bootstrap may cause issues within JomSocial. You may try to disable it (using unset script) but result is not guaranteed.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
