Hello,
we need to launch different JomSocial home page from different links, lets say:
url link1 point to JomSocial hp 1
url link2 point to JomSocial hp 2
And so on, purpose is to get different messages, different hero images displayed using either url link1 or url link2
Is there a way to achieve it ? If so how ?

Hi.

That will be a problem as JomSocial needs ONE homepage menu item. Two or more will cause URL issues as all items in JomSocial toolbar menu will inherit menu item ID from parent element (JomSocial homepage outside JomSocial toolbar) with highest ID.

It will be much easier if you want to display different things on ONE homepage for users from different Joomla! groups.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
