notification on new user registration?

there is a way to send to all the users a mail notification on a new user registration?

By Default this is impossible, jomsocial doesnt have such as this feature like this. Maybe this plugin can be a solution www.jomsocial.com/addons/core-enhancemen...user-stream-activity

Hi, Alfredo.

No, new user registration is a system message and user needs to be system administrator to receive messages like that (set in Joomla! user account).

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

it seems like not even when an admin creates an event the users get notification, am i right?

Yes you're right. It's because users doesn't get notifications related wit activities that they aren't affiliated in any way. Do in FB you get notification if SOMEONE not related with you creates any content?

If you want to notify users about something in your community.. use mass messaging system or some kind of newsletter.

events are a different speech, ok they aren't user related, but the users could be interested, so i think it could be useful send mail notification..

Posting feature request on forum will have tha same effect in 90% = link to feature request vote :D
technical support just don't create, add or request from developers any new feature :D
