hi today my site "turns" into production.
so just now i noticed i don't get any notification mail for the new activities, i set in backend the default mail notification for all the possible js activities.
If I as admin dont get the notification i guess neither the users will receive..
Hi, Alfredo.
1. Check if you provided proper email in Joomla! configuration.
2. Once again check if you have proper settings for notifications in JomSocial configuration.
3. Check if activities triggers emails and they are listed in Email Queue.
4. Check if you have configured cron job (it launch emails from queue)
5. Log in as a ordinary user and check if you receive any email notifications.
6. Check your site email if it's not blacklisted:

Hi, Alfredo.
3. Backend -> Components -> Jomsocial -> Configuration -> Privacy column at right.
4. No, it's ok.
6. It's not a domain but server IP. You probably use shared hosting.
I'l register on your site and take a closer look.
Hi, Alfredo.
I saw that emails are still in queue. That indicates issues with cron job.
I'm not sure but it may be related with https... when I try to run cron job manually I get:
prntscr.com/4s1nwn
Please, contact with your hosting provider for assistance.

Hi, Alfredo.
Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Monitor -> Email Queue
There you can see that emails are created but can't be send.
As for now you can set JomSocial to send emails every time (if there are any emails in queue) page is reloaded:
Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Site -> Cronjobs / Scheduled Task Process
since my hosting can't solve those cronjob issues, i set my 2 cronjobs (jomsocial and invitation component: invitex) in easycron.
to be honest, i use 2 different account for set each cronjob to 10 minutes.
could you kindly do some test with me for check if now works? it seems not to me...
Hi, Alfredo.
It works!
Queue is ok:
prntscr.com/4sd6ik
And I received email notifications:
prntscr.com/4sd6sy
It should be fine now :D You can go live ;)
