Hi,
i want that a guest could see the jomsocial page with the invitation to the community, but i dont want that he will see the members. how can i do it?
With or without invitation un-logged user is a guest. You need to specify:
- guest will be able to see ONLY frontpage of community or also events, groups, photos and videos?
- guest will be not able to see user PROFILES or members module or any other member presence with avatar?
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

If you want to restrict profile display:
Backend -> Components -> Jomsocial -> Configuration -> Privacy -> Profile privacy set to Members, save and click "Reset existing user's privacy.".
If you want to hide members module:
Just set access to Registered while editing module (options in right column).
Unfortunately avatar can't be hide without core files hack. When guest tried to reach profile only avatar with restriction notice will be displayed.
